Color a Smile Color a Smile collects drawings from children. Every month, they distribute these drawings to nursing homes, Meals on Wheels and individuals. The goal? To make people smile! Color a Smile was started by a man named Jerry Harris. He thought of the idea at friend's house. Jerry noticed how cheerful his friend's refrigerator door looked decorated with the colorful artwork of his children. Color a Smile has distributed hundreds of thousands of drawings to people in the United States. Everyone on their mailing list receives a new drawing each month. There are free coloring pages to download at Color a Smile. Simply color a picture and mail the picture to the address provided. If you know someone who would like to receive a "smile" every month, Color a Smile will add that person (or group) to their list! Do you have a child who loves to draw? If so, visit Color a Smile. Color a Smile is a fun way to teach kids about giving. For the cost of a stamp, your child can deliver a great big smile!
